Below, you can find out more about the type of support available and how you get more involved during your time here at Nottingham.

Accommodation

Support

Student Services Centres are based on all three UK campuses and are here to make sure you can access the support and information you may need during your university life.

The Support Services Team are here to help and advise international students on issues such as visas, employment, money, personal/family concerns, and academic difficulties. 

Sports facilities

The University and Students' Union offer superb sports and leisure opportunities. Find out more about membership options available as well as the wide variety of sports on offer. 

Careers

Looking for some part-time work? Unitemps Nottingham provide a variety of part-time work. There's also career advice available through the University's Careers and Employability Service.

 

Checklist - now you are here:

Welcome address - Attend the welcome address from the Vice-Chancellor and Students' Union.

Registration - if you are a full-time student you must confirm your attendance in person.

Attend Freshers' Fair (26-28 September) - this takes place next to the sports centre (University Park). Here, you can find out about everything your Students' Union has to offer, including sports clubs and societies.

Attend your specific school/department induction session - details will be sent directly from your school/department and can also be found on the portal.

Attend your module enrolment - details will be sent directly from your school/department and can also be found on the portal.

Attend the Health Centre registration event -  take your completed medical history and registration forms with you.

Student bank account - open a student bank account if you have not already done so.
